Paysage d’Ensemble

Between contemporary dance, music and graffiti, this interdisciplinary and intergenerational project, led by artists of the Lanabel company with the inhabitants of the Parisian neighbourhood of the Goutte d’Or, has the strength of life.

Annabelle Bonnéry, who has worked with the Jean-Claude Gallotta and Maguy Marin companies, has also created many links with Burkina Faso, organising workshops on site to raise awareness on artistic creation. This time, on a geographically closer ground but still as culturally diverse, the choreographer looked into a project as part of “Chaillot en partage”. Since the Autumn of 2016, with the inhabitants of the very cosmopolitan Goutte d’Or in collaboration with local organisations, she has been organising – with the scenographer François Deneulin, the countertenor Serge Kakudji and accomplice artists – dance, song and visual arts workshops. The final restitution of these actions, in the form of a contemporary human fresco in Brueghel style, is a magnificent example of diversity and sharing in a neighbourhood labelled Priority Security Zone. Or how to test, in a feeling of mutual recognition, the experience of these encounters.
